Ty'Cristian is a dedicated and compassionate mental health therapist who recently transitioned to the beautiful Eastern Shore after years of impactful service in Baltimore, MD. With a Master of Science in Addictions Counseling from Coppin State University, which he earned in 2019, Ty'Cristian is deeply committed to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of mental health and addiction.
As a Maryland Certified Addictions Counselor since 2023 and a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in 2024, Ty'Cristian brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice. He specializes in working with teens, adults, and couples, focusing on a wide array of challenges, including drug and alcohol counseling, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. His therapeutic approach encompasses marital and premarital counseling, OCD management, stress relief, depression, anxiety, anger management, codependency, self-esteem building, life coaching, parenting support, and sexual addiction.
Ty'Cristian is particularly passionate about integrating faith-based techniques into his therapeutic practice, recognizing the importance of holistic healing. He employs a diverse array of methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoanalytic approaches, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused brief therapy, tailoring each session to the unique needs of his clients.
