Romanda Henry, Masters Intern
*North Salisbury and Telehealth
Hello, my name is Romanda. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology: Christian Counseling and am currently completing my Master’s internship in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been blessed with 42 years of marriage, three daughters, two sons-in-law, and six wonderful grandchildren.
As both a pastor and therapist, I view counseling as a spiritual calling, a blessed opportunity to help individuals identify and replace unhealthy thought patterns, relationships, and coping strategies. My passion is to walk alongside those seeking personal growth and transformation, creating a safe and supportive environment where new and healthier foundations can be built.
My counseling approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and faith, qualities I believe are essential for building trust and rapport in the therapeutic relationship. I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Faith-Based techniques to support adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Above all, I strive to cultivate a nonjudgmental and encouraging space where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered on their journey toward healing and growth.
