My name is Meghan and I am a mental health professional with two years of experience working with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. I am originally from Long Island, New York, and I relocated to the Eastern Shore in 2018. I received my bachelor's degree in behavioral health sciences and my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am strongly grounded in CBT and person-centered therapy as I believe they help greatly with many areas. I believe people have the ability to learn and grow when they are respected, valued, and challenged to think differently. I am a strong believer in never judging a book by its cover. Outside of my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being in nature, shopping, trying new restaurants, and swimming as part of my self-care. Spending time doing what I love is an important reminder of the value of balance, connection, and self-care.
