Kerrie is licensed in MD and DE and is able to provide compassionate care to all her patients. Kerrie specializes in addiction/dual diagnosis, chronic illness, grief, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, and the geriatric population. Kerrie sees individuals 17 + and does some couples counseling. Kerrie also belongs to the Board of Certified Counselors.
Kerrie is devoted to her patients and feels that her position is a “calling.” Kerrie relies heavily on her faith for discretion in her practice along with the skills that she has learned from her education at Liberty University and Salisbury University. Kerrie possesses an AA Degree in General Studies/minor addictions, a BA in Communications/minor psychology, and a Masters in Professional Counseling.
Kerrie has extensive experience working in crisis situations, and with the developmentally disabled, as well as the geriatric population. Kerrie chooses to use integrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness/meditation/guided imagery as well as solution focused therapy, person centered therapy, talk therapy, and the emotional freedom technique as tools and/or coping skills in your wellness journey. Kerrie develops a wellness/treatment plan for each patient to utilize coping strategies that encourage healing. Kerrie is committed to her Faith and is fully equipped to encourage a more intimate walk in your Faith/Higher Power if you choose to integrate that philosophy into your wellness journey.
