Couples counseling can refer to any type of relationship, whether it be with your significant other, a parent, a child, a friend, or even a co-worker. Relationships are work. Inviting a counselor into your relationship can help your relationship to grow and flourish. There is no pre-set program. Instead, the couple and the counselor will work together to create a plan that works for the both of them.

If you are both willing to be open, honest, and committed to doing the work, there is room for tremendous growth to happen. Even if you are facing challenges of infidelity, anger, substance abuse, or bad communication. We promise to walk with you through it all, as long as you are willing to do the same. You may worry that you will fight the whole time, or that maybe one of you isn’t fully on-board. These issues will be addressed and worked out in the sessions.

We make sure that everyone is heard, and that no one feels “ganged up on.” But it’s important that everyone be honest about what isn’t working and why, so that we can go about changing that. Counseling is serious, and can be hard work at times. But it’s nothing that can’t be overcome with dedication and an open mind.
